Beat the heat!

Don't let the weather get to you - there's nothing better than cooling down with a glass of something cold and sparkling after a long, hot day...

And this lovely Prosecco from the small, family-run Dal Bello winery fits the bill perfectly!

It's one of the best we've ever tasted. And we're not alone in that - as a 'Best Buy' award from the Independent newspaper shows.

Produced in the hilly area of Asolo where the limestone soils give the wine a distinctive white peach note, this delicious, refreshing Prosecco is a world apart from bland supermarket versions.

With its fine bubbles, lively acidity and elegant balance, it is clear that this has been made with care and attention.

Taste Dal Bello and fall in love with Prosecco all over again!

About the wine

The Dal Bello Prosecco is a light straw yellow in colour with greenish tints in the glass. On the nose it is deliciously aromatic and fruity with classic notes of white peach, apricot, apple and citrus fruits along with a hint of jasmine. On the palate it is brimming with fresh, ripe fruit. Entirely dry, it has a deeply refreshing acidity and a very fine mousse. A Prosecco to fall in love with!

Like most Prosecco, Dal Bello is produced using the Charmat method. The grapes are softly pressed and then fermented using selected yeasts for 15 days. Following the first fermentation, the wine is kept in heat-controlled stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 8° C until the sparkling process. The second fermentation takes place for 30 days in autoclaves, before the wine is fined and bottled.

About the winery

'Love for the wine and the land'. This is the philosophy of the Dal Bello family, who have been producing wines in the picturesque hills of Asolo for many years now. In this generous Venetian land, the mild climate, the optimal altitude and the ideal sun exposure provide vines with the perfect habitat for the production of great wines.

The Dal Bello winery was founded by Vittorio in the fifties and is now run by his sons Mario and Antonio, who have been able to combine traditional winemaking values with new technologies, resulting in high quality wines that set them apart from the crowd!

About the vineyard

The vineyards for this Prosecco are situated in the locality of Crespano del Grappa, in the hilly Asolo sub-zone above Treviso - widely acknowledged as far and away the best region for Prosecco production. About 130 metres above sea level with soils of clay and limestone, the vineyards are perfect for growing Glera, the Prosecco grape.

Other Offers

Thank you for trusting Vivino for your wine orders! In order to ensure that your wine is protected from the elements during transport, Vivino has developed a comprehensive program for temperature controlled shipping:

  • All shipments to Non-West Coast states (CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, NV, AZ, CO, NM) will be sent via temperature controlled truck to the closest regional hub. These facilities, referred to as "gateways", are temperature controlled and located strategically throughout the country.
  • Once a shipment arrives at the gateway*, it will be transferred to UPS or Fedex for the final part of its journey

* Note that ice packs (if ordered) will be added to your package at this time.

All orders placed before 1pm EST on Wednesday will be shipped out on Friday of the same week. All orders placed after this time will be stored in a temperature controlled warehouse and shipped out the following Friday.

Delivery times, therefore, may take 8-14 days from order date, accounting for fulfillment, 4-5 days shipment to the regional hub, and 1-2 days for local delivery.

If you would like a more expeditious delivery option, please select 2-Day or Overnight Shipping.

Tracking information will not be available for your shipment until it reaches the regional hub, due to the fact that the shipment is sent via common (temperature controlled) carrier and there is no individual tracking number for the package.

You will however receive a confirmation email indicating that your shipment has left the West Coast warehouse and is en route to your closest regional hub. Your order will say "UPS Label Created", but this label will not be scanned until it reaches the regional hub.

Once the shipment reaches the regional hub, you will be able to track your package (likely 4-5 days after shipping date). At this point, the package is en route to your home/office.

  • Your wine can be protected from environmental damage for the entirety of its journey
