Every day we get many wines sent to us for tasting but this delicious Provence rosé really impressed.

A clear stand-out, as soon as we tasted it we knew it was perfect for Vivino customers!

From a small family Domaine, this is absolutely classic Provence rosé - a beautiful pale pink in the glass with elegant fruit and a beautiful freshness.

Not much of this wine makes it out of France where it is held in high regard, with the 2016 winning no less than four Gold medals!

Beautifully presented and great value for money at just £12.45 per bottle, this lovely wine clearly demonstrates exactly why Provence rosé is so popular...

About the wine

Pale and elegant, Provence rosé has been seducing the world over recent years. Not just wonderfully refreshing, they are perfect for drinking with food.

On the nose, this lovely Côtes de Provence Rosé has notes of strawberry fruit, flowers and a striking minerality. Elegant herbal and peach notes follow on the palate which is soft and fresh. Balanced and long, this is everything Rosé should be - a glass of southern French sunshine!

Due to the small production Beyssannette has yet to be discovered by the general public, but it is very well known locally and is regularly praised. Their natural method keeps the vines healthy and a quick processing of the grapes, avoiding contact with oxygen, ensures purity and freshness.

About the vineyard

Domaine La Beyssannette has 13 hectares of vineyards in Pourrières, in the Côtes de Provence-Sainte Victoire wine region - famous for its rosé wines.

The soil consists mainly of limestone and clay. The vineyards are kept as natural as possible , avoiding the use of herbicides and other chemicals and the weeds are kept at bay by a flock of sheep. The Mediterranean climate of Provence lends itself perfectly for this. It is warm and the cooling Mistral blows the grapes dry, so that mould has no chance to take hold.

About the winery

The Guiol family first made wines within a cooperative, but since 2015 they have produced wine under their own name, Domaine La Beyssannette .

It is a small family business that has been making wine for five generations, led by father Michel, son Denis, grandson Florent and brother-in-law Bernard Moustier. They make five wines, mainly from grenache and syrah, but also a white from the local grape rolle. All wines are characterized by great taste and superb freshness .

Other Offers

Thank you for trusting Vivino for your wine orders! In order to ensure that your wine is protected from the elements during transport, Vivino has developed a comprehensive program for temperature controlled shipping:

  • All shipments to Non-West Coast states (CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, NV, AZ, CO, NM) will be sent via temperature controlled truck to the closest regional hub. These facilities, referred to as "gateways", are temperature controlled and located strategically throughout the country.
  • Once a shipment arrives at the gateway*, it will be transferred to UPS or Fedex for the final part of its journey

* Note that ice packs (if ordered) will be added to your package at this time.

All orders placed before 1pm EST on Wednesday will be shipped out on Friday of the same week. All orders placed after this time will be stored in a temperature controlled warehouse and shipped out the following Friday.

Delivery times, therefore, may take 8-14 days from order date, accounting for fulfillment, 4-5 days shipment to the regional hub, and 1-2 days for local delivery.

If you would like a more expeditious delivery option, please select 2-Day or Overnight Shipping.

Tracking information will not be available for your shipment until it reaches the regional hub, due to the fact that the shipment is sent via common (temperature controlled) carrier and there is no individual tracking number for the package.

You will however receive a confirmation email indicating that your shipment has left the West Coast warehouse and is en route to your closest regional hub. Your order will say "UPS Label Created", but this label will not be scanned until it reaches the regional hub.

Once the shipment reaches the regional hub, you will be able to track your package (likely 4-5 days after shipping date). At this point, the package is en route to your home/office.

  • Your wine can be protected from environmental damage for the entirety of its journey
